PROVERBS
If you can do good things, you should. (General W. Clark)
To fight with another is wrong but to lose a fight with another over principles you deem honorable is worse.
To fight well is as proper as to study correctly or walk properly, for by learning to fight you actually educate yourself in the avoidance of battle.
Students who do not stop after a few lessons or months, soon discover a deeper meaning in their art.
If the ego is hurt people stop practicing, yet if you want to overcome others you must first overcome yourself and that means overcoming your own physical, spiritual and mental weakness'.
Don't be egotistical! If you are hurt in martial arts it is not so much the body that is hurt, but rather the ego. |
